Shelby Read (she/her): Read, Partner and Senior Strategist at RMC, has over 15 years of experience in nonprofits, educational leadership and policy, and philanthropic advising. She is passionate about intercultural communication and social justice work. Read is particularly interested in the space where philanthropy, inclusion, and belonging intersect. In 2019, she was awarded the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce's "Rising Star" award given to "an individual, under the age of 40, who is blazing the streets with their innovation and service - both professionally and personally." Read is skilled at helping clients create strategies that bridge the gap between vision and goals, and developing action plans to bring strategies to life. In addition to her BA and Masters degrees, Read has formal training from the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication, Interaction Institute for Cultural Change, and Cornell.

Susan Scarlata (she/her): Scarlata, Partner and Senior Strategist at RMC, has two decades of experience in nonprofits, universities, and government. Scarlata has worked as a Professor, teacher, writer, led communications and development, and created and delivered programming. She is committed to helping create and participate in more inclusive organizations, systems, and communities where the widest variety of people can feel they belong. Scarlata holds a BA, MFA, and PhD. Professionally, she led an after-school program for Latino youth in Denver, to taught multicultural literature in Hong Kong, advocates for the LGBTQIA+ community, and recently completed an intensive through the ‘Center for Equity & Inclusion.’ 

Jody Donovan (he/him): Donovan, Principal and Senior Consultant, has led organizational development across fields and sectors and has a depth of experience with operations, facilitation, staff development, training trainers, curriculum design, and risk management. SHRM-SP Certified, Donovan spent more than a decade working at the Teton Science Schools and completed his time there as the Chief of Operations developing and establishing policies and systems that led to smooth operations. A lifelong learner with degrees and credentials from Colorado College, the University of Wyoming, and Yamnuska Mountain Adventures, Donovan is committed to building systems and structures that support high-functioning teams. An avid climber and backcountry skier, Donovan also makes time to backpack and paddle board with his family.
